    Today’s WOD- 95# Squat Snatches, Double C2B and dips – 47:59

    Today was one of those days where going into it I knew it was going to be a trudge through get the work done type of workout as heavy (for me) squat snatches and dips are not my best movements. It turned out to be just that and then some. Sometimes I think those types of workouts are good for your mental fitness. I could have scaled this one and had a faster time, which would have been good too. But I chose to stick it out because staying calm and not getting frustrated when a workout doesn’t go your way it just as important sometimes. I did that today so I am surprisingly happy with my marathon time. And as always thanks for suffering with me Annette.

      Good call Megan. I did the opposite and am kicking myself. I went into it with the attempt to do as many bar MU that I could, but after two half-hearted attempts, I just deferred to the 3x C2B and Dips. I wish I had stuck with it and knocked the bar MU’s out. So, long story short, you did the right thing and it will pay off in the long run.

    Too sore to manage anything beyond pullups and 75# squatches – 10:52. The day after GHD situps: you think you’re ok until you cough/sneeze >_<
