Today’s WOD RX’d – 6 + 27. Scared myself with a toe catch on one of the box jumps but came away unscathed ( other than the fact that I didn’t get 7 rounds which was looking doable until that miss)
Was it as bad as my near miss face plant on Saturday? That had the potential to be pretty embarrassing, not to mention painful. 😉
Actually yes. Those misses always create a lot of noise so others get to enjoy the embarrassment on our faces. (Right, Todd?).
Exactly. And, near box jump misses are hard to hide. Everyone knows!
Last week Jordanne voted the C2B no rep the WORST, I agreed…
and nothin’ will make you take a second or two to regroup (even with 10 seconds left on the clock) than a close call on a box jump. Glad your shins are INTACT!
I caught a toe tonight, too! But I didn’t make it to 7 rds (6+14 -_-) because 24″ is about as much as my inseam is and even stepping down was work.
As Rx’d: 7rds + 4.
All about the pushups.
Tried it rx’d, but after round 4 at 275# I had to drop down to 225# for the DL because I couldn’t move the bar.
5 rounds + 15 rep. Push ups not fun.
5 rounds even with step ups. Happy with unbroken deadlifts tell the last round, it wasn’t long ago 185# would have been a struggle.
And Kady you will be happy to know that Jaime checked my push ups and they were legit;)
Nice! My pushups after rd 3 or so looked like the auditions blooper reel for Breaking Bad 2: Electric Boogaloo :C
