Fight Gone Bad

Three rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20″ box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute.The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of “rotate”, the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

    Fight Gone Bad: 285 … after double-checking the math. My scorekeeper had 295 which was so close to 300 I was a little bummed, even though I don’t think I could have pushed any harder. Is it weird to feel better about 285?? Anyway, goal for next time is still to get over 300. I also managed to punch myself in the face on one of the push presses – thankfully it didn’t hurt – but I finished the workout with a bloody lip and my entire body begging for mercy. Fight Gone Bad indeed.

    Ouch…might be a loooong time before I forget how painful that is and want to do that again.

    7 minute AMRAP of Beach Burpees in the soft sand of Miami Beach with Bob Jennings and Shelley.

    Got 90, which was DFL to Shelley’s 102 and Bob’s 93; but still felt good about it.
