Worked on Squat Snatch…stuck 175 and it felt good. Skipped 180 and went straight for 185, which would’ve been a PR. Missed 185 after three attempts, but the bar past over my head and I failed behind my head…it’s going to happen within a couple of weeks.
It’s been a while since I posted so I figured I would go nuts:
Saturday AM – Meghan’s 4 rounds of brutality (too much?):
8 power cleans (165#)
8 KB Swings 2 pood
8 pullups (fat bar)

Saturday PM – 5 rounds:
400m Run
2 snatches @ 90% 1RM (145#) (5 burpee penalty per miss)
20 knees to elbows
Rest :90 sec
Today – 15 mins to find 1RM Jerk – 220# (5# PR and felt strong and clean)
Back squats with lots of standing with the weight, without re-racking…look at the Outlaw page for the full description…it was hard.
WOD – 9:30 – Got humbled by my wife on the Double Under – Handstand hold – burpee…I even got to use a wall while she did hers free standing. I hate handstands and handstand related activities. The hate stems from deep in my loins.
