    Yesterday – 30:37 – Yea that happened. Over 20 minutes on 30 handstand pushups. I knew they were a weakness…but wow. Need to stop avoiding them and start fixing them. Started to get the hang of them after around 20, thanks for the tips Jaime. On a dim positive note I did the rest of the workout in about 10 mins flat.

    And now I have to admit that I spent many years bouncing around in my basement doing the same aerobics “tape” over and over featuring those shiny, bouncy people in leotards in order to “earn” my low-fat yogurt and Lean Cuisine … I’m a slow learner. I figured out the upside down food pyramid first and that led me to Crossfit 🙂

    So jealous of all of you that didn’t take 40 years to figure it out!

    CrossFit 515 now has a team registered for the Open. To join the team, after you sign up as an individual, go to your athlete profile and click join an affiliate to select CrossFit 515, and then click join a team and select CrossFit 515.

    Let us know if you if you have any questions. For anyone who wasn’t around last year, here’s a little on how things will go:
    Each week there will be a different workout (for 5 weeks total), starting Feb 22.
    The workout will be announced on Tuesday night each week and we will do it in the gym as the WOD on Wednesdays. Anyone who would like to redo the workout can do so again on Saturday.
    That way everyone, competeing on not, will get to do the workouts. Anyone who signs up to compete in the Open will just need to be judged during the workout by on of us so we can verify your score when you submit it online.
    Hope to get lots of participation…it will be tons of fun! 🙂 Go Team 515!!

    Almost took a wipeout after the first row, hahaha ughh it was embarassing. My legs were a wobblin’. Good workout, felt like I couldnt catch my breath, just had to keep on going.
