March “COOL” Board

– Make some goals for March, and get your name on the Board when you accomplish them

– AND let me videotape  if you are attempting, you should be proud of it

–  Deb – 1st Kipping Pull Up Ever!!!
–  Adam P. – 1 Arm Pull Up
–  Jaime – 100 Consecutive Double Unders
–  Max – 1st GHD Sit-Up

    Bobby, congrats on your second place finish last month for the 2 minute overhead squat challenge on Beyond the White Board!
    I guess that deserves a “BOOMSAUCE” !!!!!!

      Your whole family deserves some boomsauce! Jaime and Lindsay were in top 10….no wonder I’m always DFL!

          Nope, neither one of you get to feel bad at ALL…the progress I’ve seen you guys make in the last couple months is nothing short of AMAZING 🙂 Ring dips, pullups, Rxd weights, huge PRs on lifts – need I say more?!?

          Remember DFL beats DNF (did not finish) beats DNS (did not start)……So all of us DFL are still winners!!

    Did challenge wod today….then did one rep max deadlift and FINALLY got my goal of 350 lbs. That was a weight to get by the new year but I’ll take it now.

    March Goals:
    3 consecutive MU (currently stuck at 2)

    3 consecutive (no kipping) HSPUs (currently an ugly 2)

    Bench 205 (current PR is 195) -Not really a crossfit movement, I know, but I like to remind my friends that don’t believe in CF that an ex skinny cross country runner like myself can be as strong as them without benching twice a week 8)

    Spring/Early summer: Run a sub 5:30 mile – I just want to run fast again. I want to see how close I can get to my old running times while continuously putting up more weight.

    Mobility WODs at least 4 times a week – This I probably need the most!

    Did Wed WOD this morning: Run400m, 15 squat snatch (55#), 9 HSPU
    Black WOD(kipping HSPU’s) – 14:16.

    Did Fran this morning. 6:34. Beat my old time (Jan. 28th) by 37 seconds. The second round is what killed me.

    Need to come up with March goals, but they definitely need to focus on overhead lifts and getting better at pullups.

    Made up last Saturdays WOD (didn’t want to miss out on doing a WOD that I thought I could do rx’d)
    65 lb. sumo deadlift high pulls
    65 lb. overhead squats
    7:03 as rx’d

    March goals short and sweet.

    1. Move up the ladder 3 spots
    2. Squat 300 lbs
    3. 1 strict muscle-up
