U.S. Air Force Security Forces 1st Lt. Joseph D. Helton, 24, of Monroe, Ga., assigned to the 6th Security Forces Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., was killed September 8th, 2009, while on a mission near Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Helton is survived by his mother, Jiffy Helton.

    It was actually a combo of games against Sweeden Finland and the Soviets. It was a round robin and the only reason I know this is cause of the movie “The Big Labowski”

    You know its going to be a killer WOD when you pick the dumbells up first set and say “oh boy thats heavy”.

    Way to push morning classes. Just about everyone ended up on their backs after this one!! When you do that you know you left nothing on the table which is awesome to see! No better feeling than having it be over and know you gave it everything you had in the tank!!

    Was debating whether to make up Fran instead but chickened out – probably a good choice, during the WOD I could feel the 3 hours in the car I had each of the last 4 days. Is it weird that I’d rather do a 1/2 hour workout than a 5 min one?? Anyone that’s done Fran now knows it’s not weird, right 🙂 Some smokin times put up yesterday too!!! Soon…
