Attitude is the key word for today. Mine has been not what it should be since some work crap went down around 7:00 last night, which affected me this morning in the gym. I’m REALLY trying to turn it around. So my workout this morning suffered, plus the fact that any type of squatting is definitely not in my strength column. All that being said, the hour in the gym this morning was still a highlight of my day!!
Coming in and giving your best effort is a win for today! Hope everything works for you.
Good job today Steve!
Today’s wod (modified using 165# for front squats): 13:32.
Today- 23:11 @115#
I watched Annette do 125# and just wanted to be like her! Got 5 reps and realized that I’m just not there yet haha bumped down to 115 to try and save the workout.
I thought this would be a, “Get the Ambulance on Speed Dial,” day. I found the pacing really helped. Taking chunks of 3-5 squats at a time. 21:40 as RX’ed.
Today as rx’d – 15:31
I always wonder if I’m spending too much time preparing for front rack, but then the wod starts and I’m glad I did. It even lasted through overhead night at 22nd St.
