    Saturday we did a version of this…
    10-8-6-4-2 (hspu) 5-4-3-2-1 (squat cleans)
    Handstand push-ups (deficit)
    Squat cleans, increasing weight (135-175)

    Not sure what my time was…

    Today did last Friday’s, but ran down and back 8 times instead of running a 400 outside 🙂

    Let it not be said that you won’t improve if you keep pushing yourself at Crossfit. The first WOD I did that involved handstand pushups I had to use the box. I couldn’t do half a hand stand pushup with two ab mats, much less a regular hand stand pushup. I still have the date and workout written down for reference, “I had to use the box.”

    Then over time I was able to get it to two ab mats, then eventually one, and then do A SINGLE handstand pushup as normal. And then a workout mostly as RX’ed with handstand pushups. And today an entire workout of handstand pushups sufficient enough that I’d be confident they all hit the standard.

    Talk about a night and day difference from then to now. If you can’t do one just keep at it. You’ll pick it up little by little.
