Did squat snatches got 95# so close to 105#! Feels great going up but its the catch and standing up with it now that needs work. Thanks for all the helpful tips Annette, Mindy, and Jaime.

NINETY FIVE pound snatch today! Twice actually cause I walked the first one half way across the gym over my head before I caught it. Second one much better.
This was a big deal for me. I remember for the longest time looking at Isabel and thinking “95# snatch! Who are they kidding?!?! I’ll never do that. I’m pretty sure unless you’re Jaime you can’t do that!” Well, unless you give me half an hour for Isabel, I’m still not ready but I never thought it would even be a possibility π
I’m always a little leery of new things. But I have to give credit to the programming. I have made more gains with my strength in the past three months than I did in the previous 6. Feels great π
