Tabata Something Else

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups (with band) (ring rows), the second 8 are push-ups (from knees), the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

Post total reps from all 32 intervals to comments.

    Sunday – went in to take on “klepto”, which I’ve been meaning to make up for 5 months now. Klepto is a HERO Wod, in honor of Sgt David Brodeur who was a man of great character from my hometown in Auburn, Massachusetts and was killed in Afghanistan in 2011. It was first programmed 3/6/2012, the day my dad passed away. I went into this workout ready to give everything and had 3 thoughts throughout…1) Brodeur and his family, he gave everything. 2) my dad who was the hardest working man I know, and 3) just keep moving becuase Brodeur and my dad went through so much more than I would during this WOD.

    Well, I finished and felt pretty good about how I did finishing with a time of 15:46 for 4 RFT, 27 box jumps, 20 burpess, and 11 Squat cleans at 100#……that is until I looked later and realized that 515 did the workout with 24″ Box Jumps and I only did 20″. I had looked up the workout and seen that another affiliate did 20″ for box jump so assumed we did too. While I still feel pretty good about the WOD, I feel I left something on the table by not doing the 24″ box jumps.
    My goal will be to do this WOD each year on 3/6/2012 in honor of 2 great men. And for anyone who may choose to do it before then, please let me know because I owe it to my dad and Sgt Brodeur to do this with the 24″ box jumps and would love to join you in this WOD.

      That is a good, and very tough workout either way Tara. Nice work! I’ll do this one with you when you do it next time.

    That’s awesome Tara, and I wouldn’t sweat the box jumps to much it’s all in the effort and I know you gave it 110%. I would be honored to try this one with you sometime.

    Today’s Tabata Something Rediculious – 100, 63, 100, 176 = 439
    I think that I did the addition wrong at the gym and posted 459.
