Squat Clean and Jerk, 30 reps (155/105) (105/75) (75/55)

The barbell goes from ground to overhead, passing through a front squat in which the crease of the hip passes below the height of the kneecap. The finish position is with the arms, hips and knees fully extended, arms overhead, with at least a portion of the ear visible in front of the arm. Dropping the barbell is acceptable.

    Todays WOD as RXD = don’t know the time just happy to finish

    Was expecting to do this at 135# but decided to bump it up to 155# after listening to Bobby and John. Struggled on the last 10 and wasn’t sure if I locked out on the final one so after a 5 min coma decided to get 1 last one for good measure.

    Thanks for all the support and motivation everyone, really helped a lot.

    5:58 as Rx’d. Took me about as long to do the last 10 as it did to do the first 20. Thought the squatting would be the toughest part, turns out the jerk was. Who’da thunk it?

    Didn’t want to scale it but my shoulder decided it did. Trying to remind myself that it may limit my weight or my movements but it should never limit my effort so I still gave it my all. Thanks for the cheers this morning everybody!

    Today’s WOD as rx’d – 13:59. Hmmm, my time looks awfully slow, especially since I posted after Jaime but just happy to be able to do this WOD rx’d since 105lbs is more than 90% of my C&J 1 rep max.
    Way to blow this one away Jaime!
