Blue band pull-ups was my only mod.
This is the first WOD where I made it all the way through without stopping for more than 10 seconds.
Weighed in at a svelte 225 today. Exactly halfway way to my 6 month goal in just under 3 months.
This is fun!

Front Squat PR 255#
Yesterday – Redid 11.3 – Got 15 full rounds and a squat clean (31 reps). I had been dreading this one for a while and happy I finally did it again. Last year I got 9 rounds and a squat clean and truthfully felt at the time it was the most I could have done. After yesterday, I think I may have even been able to sneak in another round at least.
So far the Open has been a blast. It’s great to see the effort and encouragement from everyone in the gym. Awesome performances so far! Keep it up 515!

Today’s WOD: 16:26 featuring my NEMESIS: PULLUPS. I tried to go Rx and managed 5, then added the band, which in my opinion is just another kind of HARD. Seriously, I feel like I’m swinging an anchor which is a bad thing to visualize when you are hanging there mid-WOD, huh? I’m going to change that channel .. insert … orangutan?
