    Bobby and I wanted to get a “You Challenge” started at 515 and keep it going each week just within the gym. I’ll kick things off –

      Could you explain how it works? If there’s a “you challenge”, is it whoever gets the best score/time, chooses the next week’s workout? What day of the week are scores due by?
      Should be fun! 🙂

    Today’s WOD: 28:18.

    Really had to gut it out to finish each exercise. Trying to stay positive after yet another humbling workout at 515: kipping hspu’s (w/2 abmats) are fun when you get one solid. It took me a loonnngggg time to get 30. After only 1 successful pullup, I did ring rows (that didn’t go well, either) before finally getting to the stuff I like: kb swings, situps and burpees. 70, though? Ugh. Talk about throwing yourself down and getting back up. Thanks for the push this morning guys.

    Today’s wod, rx’d: 18:24. It took me awhile to get past the hspus. Yikes.

    It’s amazing what you think about when you’re doing burpees. For some reason, I was thinking about Scooby Doo. One burpee Scooby…two burpees Scoopy…

    Today’s wod with kipping HSPUs and subbed TTB for sit-ups – 24:27. Pretty sure the toes to bar made that a completely different workout — 150 reps in a row of all grip. Ugh.

    Today is the first day to sign up for the CrossFit Open!!! First workout will be announced Feb 22.

    Today’s WOD as Rx’d – 12:42

    I got to the burpees at 6:45…I hate burpees!

    Did 21 HSPU’s to start which is a 3 rep PR and a loooong term goal haha

    Ya Ash, I can’t figure out why my shoulders feel a little tired, WHY?

    Today’s WOD as Rx’d – 17:12 …I did all 70 burpees without stopping- that’s a huge accomplishment for me 🙂

    Then I couldn’t resist the awesome weather, so after noon class I ran a 5K – 20:59 ..PR by 16 seconds! I still don’t understand how CrossFit works at all, I feel like I’ve hardly run at all lately, and now somehow I’m faster…I’m so not complaining thou!!

    Did all 40 Pullups without tearing so for me, thats an accomplishment!

    So I found out today is “National Women in Sports Day” and I wanted to give a shout out to all the amazing women I have met at 515. You are all by far the strongest most inspiring group of women I know. I am very honored to have so many role models of smart, athletic, beautiful, and talented women to look up to and to strive to be like. Thanks ladies and keep up the good work!

        Meghan, very nice of you to say. Agree with Jaime that you need to include yourself. Can’t tell you how many times you’re encouragement has kept me going in workouts. You’re definately one of the most positive and encouraging folks I know. Awesome to work out with you and all the other ladies at 515!
