    Death by pullup: 16 rds + 3. I had more rounds in me, but tore both hands.

    GHD / RingDips (w/ band): 9:40. Didn’t really kill that one… but it got me moving this Monday morning, which is what I needed. Then with time to play, I finally EEKED out my first pullup! Then I eeked out one more so it wasn’t a fluke! YAY! 🙂

    Good job, Jodi! 5 kipping pullups this morning!!

    Made up 18 box jump, 15 TTB, 12 Pullups. Truly a pathetic effort, really wasn’t feeling it today…
    5 rounds + 5 pullups.

    Death by pullup: 19 rds + 10

    total of 200 pull-ups without tearing my hands – so I’m happy with that.

    Today did 10 Rounds of 15 DL’s @ 135# and 15 Push Up’s for time – 9:29

    Then did Death by Pull Ups – 20 Rounds + 19

    “Kelly” started as rx’d, dropped down to 10# wall balls, hit my leg on the box during my second round of box jumps, spent some time recuperating. Then flipped the box to 20″ and finally finished in 36:14

    Today is my 2 year CrossFit Birthday 🙂

    So I thought it’d be fun to look back at what I could do when I started CrossFit 2 years ago and what I can do now…and thought it might be worth sharing (the crazy thing is, I thought I was in pretty great shape before I started!) Most of the before numbers were in my first couple CrossFit weeks…

    Max Deadlift: 2 yrs ago= 170, now= 340
    Max Pullups: 2 yrs ago= ZERO, now= 45
    Mile Run: 2 yrs ago= 6:30, now= 5:37
    Clean & Jerk: 2 yrs ago=85, now= 175
    Back Squat: 2 yrs ago= 165, now= 235
    Shoulder Press: 2 yrs ago= 65, now= 100
    Fran: 2 yrs ago= 7:38 (55#, green band pullups), now= 3:12 rx’d
    Helen: 2 yrs ago= 11:15 (26# KB, jumping pullups), now= 8:28 rx’d
    Grace: 2 yrs ago= 4:11 (60#), now= 1:51 (rx’d – 95#)
    Kelly: 2 yrs ago= 29:49 (18″ box, 14# WB to 8′ line), now= 24:20 (24″ box, 16# WB to 10′ line)
    …and this just includes a list of stuff I could compare easily, there is also a whole list of things I couldn’t even think about doing when I started: muscle-ups, rope climbs, HSPUs, handstand walks, pistols, double-unders, etc etc etc!

    CrossFit WORKS 🙂

      What a fun post – it’s really cool to see your before & well, we’ll call them “current” numbers (not after), because those won’t be around for long either! You are not done. Yeah, inspiring pretty much covers it.
