  2. Todd says:

Awesome job Bob and Adam! Very cool.

  3. Todd says:

…and in other HyVee triathalon news, Tara K. came in 7th in her division.

  4. Bob Jennings says:

HyVee Tri – an incredible bike thanks to crossfit and all those squats setting up for a top ten (elite qualifier) age group finish before bonking on the run. Averaged over 21 mph on a rolling hills course and the last time I did that I qualified for national championships, two age groups in the past. Some might see crossfit as unconventional training for a tri but my overall standing in my age group improved dramatically ending up 16th out of 48.

  5. Ash says:

Way to represent CF Bob and Adam!

    Thrusters 3×7 – 135, 155, 170, 185, 200(x1), 205(x1), (215(f)

    Then

    Front Squat 3×5 – 205, 215, 225, 235, 240(f)

  6. Lindsay says:

  7. John Jackovin says:

Completed the Sally WOD in 10 seconds. I believe I whacked up my hamstring pretty good. Walking is difficult. Is there a pull up ring dip WOD I can do??? Should have taken Jim Carrey’s advice.

  8. Bart says:

  10. Ben says:

“Meadows” wod today. Why the eff is it called that? Meadows are supposed to be peaceful and serene. This was the opposite of that. Anyway, I did it in 30:34. Gross.

    • Bobby says:

My guess would be that U.S. Marine Corps Captain Joshua S. Meadows, 30, of Bastrop, Texas, assigned to 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command, based in Camp Pendleton, California, was killed by enemy fire on September 5, 2009 in Farah Province, Afghanistan.
