    238 lbs + 80 lbs of added weight for a total of 318 lbs for a strict pull up. Failed at 88 lbs and then tried to swing but the weight between my legs acted as a counter-balance, so no go.

    “DT” as Rx’d – 17:20. Happy I did it as Rx’d (1st time) but not happy at all about the time. Should be an easy one to improve next time it comes up.

    Monster boomsauce awarded to Jaime and Bobby this morning! Awesome to watch!

      Thanks Justin! Very cool to watch you do that rxd today too…I remember not too long ago when you’d struggle to get 95# above your head, talk about improvement!

    I love that workout 🙂 I didn’t think I could really do better than last time, but I felt pretty amazing this morning!!! Also I tried hook-grip for the first time ever – it actually did help me hold onto the bar and I kinda liked it. Thanks for doing that with me, Bobby, even thou you’re still sick….guess you still haven’t given it your best effort, next time.

    My “DT” times:
    15:29 (w 90#) – 2/5/10
    16:22 – 4/9/10
    9:33 – 10/6/10
    13:13 (in my boot) – 1/17/11
    6:53 – 6/3/11
    5:43 – Today

      SUASOME job Jaime!! I am infinitely jealous of you on this workout……maybe someday……..maybe not 🙂 Mine was a lot less impressive to watch but I felt I made small victory just getting myself to do my least favorite workout when I felt like poo, and I was actually happy with my form the whole time.

      Um, yea, watching you do this workout was crazy. At first, I was like “oh shoot, I thought Bobby and Jaime were doing this workout later today, I should have waited and gone with them.” Then I realized how mentally hard it would have been to see you finishing when I had two rounds left and was happy I didn’t wait 🙂 Although, maybe the opportunity to beat Bobby head to head would have pushed me to not bomb my last set of JERKS

      At noon, Lance and I did one round of “DT” at 185#/135# – 1:29. That was a fun idea, Lance! And I’m still impressed you then did a round at 225#!! Now I have a MUCH better appreciate of why people dislike this workout, if it felt like that to me, I don’t think I’d enjoy it much either…although, now I do want to do 5 rounds sometime and see if I really could beat my time from the first time I did DT rxd 🙂

      Weighted Pullups @ BW 141: 0-18-26-31-35-40(f)-40
      I did them strict with a weight belt & KBs this time instead of kipping w vests as I’ve done in the past.

    Weighted pull-up: 50,55,60,68,68,73,73. 165+73 = 238 (44%: weight/bw…goal next time is to get to 85 pounds).

    100 pushups for time: 5:14 (helped having Adam going at the same time).

    And Justin you’re right about monster boomsauce: I come in and Lindsay has DT on the ground, Jaime proceeds to kick DT…some ridiculous time just over 5 minutes, and then Bobby pile drives it into the ground.

      Nice to see your ending weight and my body weight are identical. I guess I need to drop a few or get stronger.

    DT rx’d – 9:45. Got 12:26 when I did DT in January. My goal was under 10:00, so very happy about that, but NOT happy about failing on two jerks in my last round 🙁

    Weighted pull-up: 53,70,85,90,101,106(f),101(f). 190bw + 101 = 291
    then
    100 PU’s for time – 4:13

    Weighted Pull Ups – 53, 70, 90, 100, 105, 110, 116 : 175bw + 116=291 for 66% of BW

    Then, 100 Push Ups for time – 2:46

    Weighted pull-ups got up to 100 1/2 lbs. with BW of 155. Then did 100 push ups in 4:47. I just wasn’t feeling it today, I was hoping to be able to do at least 115 lbs.

    Weighted pull ups – 67# (37% of 181# BW). Failed at 70# twice. PR by 17 pounds.

    Called out Ash on push-ups. Big mistake for me. 5:56 – PR by 30 seconds. But a distant 3rd place to Billy and Ash.
