Challenge: The 7:30 am class challenges all other classes to a class 4 minute AMRAP this coming Tuesday.
1. Rope climbs (three rope progressions can be used = one climb).
2. Multiple ropes can be used but only one person can be in the air at a time.
3. Every person in the class must complete at least one rep (a rope climb or three progressions) or it is a DNF for the class.
4. Any combination of climbers and total climbs by each can be used to obtain your total score.
5. Tie breaker – combined age of the oldest two people in the class.
Any questions, see Bobby or Jamie. They can make up rules as needed.
I like it!!
Good idea, Bob. Should be fun! I like the tiebreaker, haha 🙂
Regionals wod 3 – 6:22. WAY better than I expected to do with the heavy deadlifts. Still would have gotten second to last at regionals though 🙁
Regionals WOD 3 – 7 deadlifts completed on set of 9 at time cap (Regionals time would have been 12:11), real time was 12:54. I would have gotten second to last in the Midwest Regional. Boomsauce! Actually pretty psyched about getting as far as I did. Damn, that’s some heavy deadlifts!
What was the weight and sets?
21-15-9 rep rounds for time of:
Deadlifts (315/205)
Box jumps (30″/24″)
Ohhhh, cool.
Regionals WOD 3 – 4:33. Wow, 205# is a whole-nother ballgame than 185#! Couldn’t get in a very good rhythm on box jumps….I’m thinking the heavy dead lifts had something to do with that, just a hunch. I think this would have been 6th at regionals.
Good job on this one Z and Justin…and now we get to do both of your better 3 workouts!
Have a short 5k run/race next weekend so going to run 5k fast then finish with a couple more miles at a slower pace.
Regionals WOD 4 – 22:03
For time:
100 Pullups
100 KB swings (53/35)
100 Doubleunders
100 Overhead Squats (95/65)
Did the 100 pullups to start the workout in 4:54 too… 5:00 was my goal 🙂 And would have been 7th in regionals for this one, so pretty happy overall! Tough WOD…I don’t think my forearms have ever hurt so bad.
Awesome job on the 80 pullups unbroken, Bobby. Crazy!
