    Anyone that has done the Open WOD #1 that hasn’t submitted a score yet should at least try, even if you plan to do it again, that way I can verify it and get a score in for you. I would hate to have an issue with submitting if we wait too long.

    Challenge for ash

    1). 30 muscle ups

    2). 30 pull ups (25lb vest)
    30 dips (25lb vest)
    30 handstand push ups(Kipping allowed)
    Same thing for 20 reps then 10 reps

    3). 10 muscle ups
    20 bur pee pull ups
    30 ghds
    40 handstand push ups( Kipping allowed)
    50 back extensions

    Let me know, I probably won’t do it until next week!

    Yesterday’s WOD:
    70 burpees
    60 Sit ups
    50 KB swings
    40 Pullups
    30 HSPU

    Blue – 34:01 (ab mat and kipping hspu)

    I got to the HSPU a shade under 10:40…then tackled the hspu…one….at….a….time. Coming back tonight to run a 10K to get all caught up.

      With all of my years of running I’m not sure if I’ve ever run a 10k for time…so, PR!

    Yesterday’s WOD:
    70 burpees
    60 Sit ups
    50 KB swings
    40 Pullups
    30 HSPU

    Black WOD w strict HSPUs – 26:42
    Made it thru everything up to HSPUs in 10:53 – my goal was to beat Kristin’s total time excluding the HSPUs…but I didn’t (I think she made her time up)! Then I struggled thru the HSPUs next to Justin. My head “actually” touched the ground on most of them, and the rest of them where of the kind, as Bobby would say (imitating Z & I) “Did my head touch the ground, because it didn’t ACTUALLY touch, but did it at least LOOK like it did?!?” Haha. Oh well, I’ll be proud of my first WOD w strict HSPUs none-the-less 🙂

    Ran my first ever 5K today – 33:35
    These were my 2 goals:
    1. To finish
    2. To have a faster time than those of you who ran the 10K the other day.
    When it comes to running, I aim low.

    We are enjoying Florida but miss everyone back at CF 515

      It’s a good thing Bobby took a wrong turn or it might have been close, haha 🙂
      Seriously thou, what an awesome accomplishment! If I’m not mistaken, about a year ago you ran a total of 1 mile in a WOD, marking the most you’d ever run?! Congratulations, Mom!!

    I was shooting for under 11 minutes on this one but HSPU’s were a lot harder than I figured after doing everything else. I think I started on them around 8:30 and the rest is history.

    I’ve been m.i.a from CF this week but hope to be back tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s my challenge to Bart 🙂

    Option # 1
    Throwdown Series – highest placing

    Option # 2
    Run 400m
    10 Pistols – alternating legs
    20 GHD’s – one arm touches ground and foot pads (or use a plate if can’t reach ground when stretched all way back)
    30 Toes to Bar
    Run 400m
    30 Pistols alternating legs
    20 GHD’s (one arm touches ground and foot pads)
    10 Toes to Bar
    Run 400m

    Option # 3
    Handstand Walks – I was trying to recall the one you had proposed
    5 days, 3 attempts per day – whoever can go the farthest.

    *I’m also open to suggestions if you’d like to alter any of these 🙂

    23:58…2nd mile killed me….legs didnt work right after the Back Extensions…. 🙁
    Coming back tonight to do Helen….gotta get caught up from vacation….

      5:45 – Helen as 2nd WOD of the day….

      11:17 – PR by 4:43 when I did it last October (which was my first month at 515)

    Happy w this, but also have my list of excuses: SUPER windy, and then I for some reason thought it was 20 KB swings in the 3rd round (even after I did 21 in the 1st 2 rounds) so had to chase the KB halfway across the gym when Bobby yelled at me to do one more! Oops!! So everything considered, 9 sec PR felt pretty good!

    AND way more exciting news, got my first fully locked out, no false grip kipping muscle-up!! And then almost did 2 in a row. Those are WAY more fun that way 🙂 After only like 4 months..cool board!!
