Black WOD

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
5 Parallette handstand push-ups (Kipping if needed)
10 Toes through rings
15 Medicine Ball Cleans (20/14)

Russell Berger 14 rounds + 3 HSPU (5″ deep HSPU), Heather Bergeron 10 rounds + 12 cleans (1″ deep HSPU, 14lb ball), Austin Malleolo 10 rounds + 3 HSPU (shoulder to parallette), Kevin Montoya 10 rounds + 2 HSPU (head to floor HSPU), Kristan Clever 8 rounds + 9 cleans (6″ deep HSPU), Rebecca Voigt 4 rounds (6″ deep HSPU).

10 Hanging Knee Raises
15 Medicine Ball Cleans (10/6)

    Ledesma Rx: 6 rounds even. Props to anyone that completes A round of this one Rx. Paralette HSPUs are just about impossible! Good push Z and Adam P. I would have probably did a lot more thinking about HSPUs rather than doing them if you two weren’t right there! Z if you haven’t noticed I appreciate the friendly neck and neck competition we have going on most days!

    Great participation this morning 5:30 class!! Its a blast to work out with a ton of people! Keep up the participation!

    Alright, call out to the big man Sir Lancelot –

    Option 1 –
    Bench Press – bodyweight x 100
    Deadlift – bodyweight x 100
    For time, complete the appropriate weight for both bench press and deadlift in no particular order. For example, if I weigh 185lbs, I will need to complete 18,500lbs for bench press as well as 18,500lbs for deadlifts. You can break these up however you choose and in whatever order you see fit. You do not need to complete bench press before moving to deadlift and vice versa. You may mix your sets (25 reps of bench and then move to 25 reps of deadlift, etc.)

    Option 2-
    “JT”
    21-15-9 reps of:
    HSPU
    Ring Dips
    Push ups

    Option 3-
    “Nasty Girls”
    3 rounds for time of:
    50 Squats
    3 Muscle-ups
    135lb Power Clean, 10 reps

    Ledesma rx’d (kipping HSPUs on the parallettes, and 20# med ball) – 5 rounds + 3 reps. Thought I was going to get 6 rounds, then spent a very frustrating last 2 minutes failing on the hspus.

      Did you do anything special with the parallettes? Kipping? I think I’ll hit this one on Thursday.

        I just did the standard from the ’09 games, 30″ wide and 5″ deep (2 red plates and 1 green). I did not kip, but you would probably get a lot better workout if you did, I spent A LOT of time staring at the wall. Probably could have done about twice as many rounds, kinda just depends what kind of workout you want from it.

    “ledesma” – 6 rounds + 6 med-ball cleans – Kipping HSPU, TTR, & 20# med ball. Could’ve had a 2-3 more med ball cleans in there but had to take a moment to help Max with the movie in the play room at the start of round 2.
