  1. Jaime says:

Congratulations on the 12 muscle-ups Ramsey!!!!!!

  2. Lindsay says:

    Nice job, Ramsey! Very impressive

  3. Bobby says:

Ya Rambo, welcome to the Muscle Up Club! Tape em up, 30 For Time!

  4. Brian says:

    Snatch Balance: 135, 155, 175, 205F, 205! (Previous 1 rep max 200)

    OHS 2 min: 61

  5. Justin says:

    Nice work Ramsey!

Snatch Balance – 1st time doing this movement, 65#, looking forward to working on this one some more

    OH squat 2 mins – 34

Death by C&J 135# – 6 full rds with 5 reps on 7th rd. (Barely got 4 rounds when I did it in September). Thanks for talking me into Grace weight, Z

  6. Lindsay says:

Snatch balance: 65, 75, 85, 95(f), 90(f) … definitely a good movement for me to work on – my body wants to get wide instead of low when the weight gets heavy

    2 min OHS: 51
    Death by C&J 95# – 7 rounds + 4 in 8th round

  7. Adam says:

Hey YODER! Call out Justin or get ready for a smack down! I’m tired of waitin’!!!

Snatch balance – PVC – PVC – PVC – PVC – PVC…..have some work to do with some flexibility issues. OHS 75 lb for 2 min = 14 reps….one month ago that would have been zero reps so I am pleased.

  8. Justin says:

    Call out, Ash:
    5 rds:
    20 Box Jumps (24″)
    10 Burpees
    5 deadlifts 225#

    Row 2K for time

    12 min AMRAP:
200 meter sandbag run (heavy sandbag, I believe it’s 50#, trainers?)
    10 burpee pullups
10 sumo deadlift high pull 95#

All wods pending approval, of course

    • Jaime says:

      Approved. And I think it’s 50# sandbag.

    • Ash says:

Didn’t we already go? I’m confused, I thought I had to wait and challenge the winner of Nick and Ramsey…(which I was just about to do, since they took so long). Oh, well I guess I should have read the rules closer; I’m an idiot.

I supposed I’ll go with workout #2 of the three cardo workouts, Ha! No, seriously I don’t think I’ve ever rowed 2k before and I’m always excited to try something new.

  9. Jaime says:

    Snatch Balance: 85-95-105-115(F)-115(2)
    2:00 OHS Challenge as Rx’d: 56

    Yesterday’s DL/DU WOD as Rx’d: 5:36
(Yea, first day of DUs…and I can still do them, sorta 😉 )

  10. Shelley says:

Snatch Balance: 45-55-65-70-75 (First time for trying the snatch balance move)

    2:00 OHS Challenge as Rx’d: 50
Bobby, I needed you there today yelling at me (oh, I mean encouraging me) and I could have beat Lindsay. Also, wished I would have looked to see what everyones reps were (I just looked at the low end since I thought that’s where I would be).

Hope you are feeling better Bobby!

  11. Adam S says:

Snatch Balance – working with PVC on my flexibility issues in shoulders

Bart – I accept the rematch challenge – Death by Deadlift. I’ll probably do this either Monday or Tuesday.

  12. Laura says:

Challenge call out to Jasmine…..pending approval

    WOD 1 – 3 rounds:
    Chin above bar hold
    30 second rest
Handstand hold (do over can be granted if you don’t have steady hold at the beginning and fall)
    30 second rest
Push-up hold (hold at the bottom of a push up just hovering above the ground)

    1 minute rest between rounds

Hold each exercise as long as you can – trainers can help keep track of times. Add the time of the 3 exercises together each round; Then take the lowest time as your score for the WOD. Winner has the longest hold time.

    WOD 2
    30 air squats
    25 push-ups
    20 Power Snatches (45 lbs)
    15 KB (35lbs)
    10 toes to bar
400m run with 25 lb tent
    10 toes to bar
    15 KB (35 lbs)
    20 Power Snatches (45 lbs)
    25 push ups
    30 air squats

    WOD 3 – 10 minute AMRAP
8 Sumo squat into upright row (you can pick the weight)
8 dips (agreed upon band if needed)
    8 box jumps (20in)

    • Jasmine says:

Hey Laura- I’m thinking WOD 3. I’ve only sumo deadlifted once, can I give you a weight after my morning workout Monday (tomorrow)?

  13. Adam P says:

OK Yoder…. the Justin/Ash challenge will take a while so here are your choices…..

    1. You’ve got to get up to get down – 5 rounds for time – 2 muscle ups, 4 hspu’s, 8 squats 135lbs from rack (sub for muscle ups is three pull ups and three ring dips) If you want to use an abmat for hspu’s that’s fine but I get to use it as well.

    2. Row your boat – row a 800 m, rest 30 sec, row a 400 m, rest 30 sec, row a 200 m, rest 30 sec, row a 100 m

    3. Five minutes in heaven – 1st minute hand stand hold with a back drop (not free standing), 2nd pull up hold, 3rd back extension hold, 4th ring dip hold, 5th squat hold at the bottom – each second the exercise is performed unbroken is a point, once the exercise is failed you can not begin again and that is your rest time. Example: I do a 40 second handstand hold, I have 20 seconds to rest and score 40 points for the first minute. I then do a 20 second pull up over the bar, I score 20 points for that round and I have 40 seconds to rest….The points are calculated at the end of the workout and the most scored is the winner. The clock is continuous so if it takes you ten seconds to set up into the next exercise that is time and points lost.

HSPU’s count as long as your head does not touch the ground. Pull ups are chin over bar with a pull up grip not a chin up grip, back extension is above parallel, ring dip is locked out at the top, squat is below parallel.

    • Jeremy Yoder says:

You have got to be the most creative SOB I know 🙂
Where do you come up with this stuff 🙂
….give me the night to think about it…I am doing the Brrrr ride this weekend so I will decide in the next 24 hrs and then do it Mon or Tuesday….

      • Jeremy Yoder says:

        OK….questions…

        On Wod 3…
        (1) Pull up hold…where does your chin have to be.
        (2) On back extenstion I assume the hold needs to be parallel or better?
        (3) Ring Dip hold…so we are holding in the up position correct?
        (4) On the squat hold…air squat I assume? so we are just sitting at the bottom of an air squat stance somewhere below parallel?

        • Adam p says:

Chin above the bar, back above parallel, ring dip locked out at top, air squat below parallel.

          • Jeremy Yoder says:

OK Adam, I will probably do Wod 3 on my own because it sounds pretty cool, however I think I probably outweight you by 30-50 lbs so I would probably lose that one……so a Row Your Boat Rematch it is 🙂

  14. Bobby says:

    Snatch Balance 135 – 165 – 185 – 195(2) – 195(f) – 195(f) – 195……ya I’m bad at counting, and I might have missed a failure or 2 in there somewhere 🙂 Thanks for all the re-racks Brian and Nick

    2 Minute Challenge
    Black WOD as Rx’d – 75

  15. Tara says:

    snatch balance – this is tricky. 65#, 75 #, 75 #, 75#, 75 #
    2 min challenge – Black RX’d – 48. I felt I could’ve done better – I’m going to try this again before the 15th.
