    I believe Francis Scott Key (who was an American lawyer) is correct and was written during the Battle of Fort McHenry (I did have to look up the when). Nice work Jim! The kids and I are studying American History right now so very COOL question!! See you all in the morning!

    Would love to be able to say “As Rx’d” but a few of my WBs were just short of the 10′ mark. Bummer! It wasn’t worth re-doing them though!!

    Quad City Crossfit wod:
    Death by … (1) push-ups x2, rest 1 min then, (2) box jumps – 26 in, rest 1 min then, (3) sit-ups x3

    push-ups: 10 min (20 push ups + 19 on min 11)
    box jumps: 19 min
    sit-ups: 12 min (36 sit ups)

    Black WOD as Rxd – 10:35
    Actually used the dumb 15 lb Wallball with uneven weight 🙁 Wasn’t too bad until the workout turned into ALL wallballs at the end!! I’m with Jen, not sure it was actually worth re-doing my wallballs that didn’t quite make it to the line, but it’s good motivation for me to get it up there the first time so I did.

    Nice work to everyone in the AM classes so far today – way to push yourselves hard all the way thru! Keep up the great work.

    Did deads and pullups today.
    Same sequence. Have not done them since my elbows were acting up and I planned wallballs tomorrow. Holy forearm scream.
    33 burpees as well.
    Beat my last time by 10 sec.
